REQUIREMENTS

  • must be 21 years or older and live in the USA

  • must have a one other person to help you co-lead

  • comfortable being in a a leadership role and able to control the tone in group environments

  • available to plan at least one event in your city per month and if possible, one book club meeting, around 5-10 hours of your time

  • event experience is a plus, but not required as most of our events are low-key and fairly simple to bring to life

  • the ability to run a local instagram account for your chapter is a must!

  • patience โ€” weโ€™ll help you as much as possible, but it takes time to build up a community so we do recommend having somewhat of a network already (think followers on social media, facebook groups to post in, business relations)

The most important thing about our Chapter Leaders is that they genuinely want to bring a community to life and build the Wildish Women Community. If youโ€™re only in it for the clout, this isnโ€™t the role for you.

Although this is a volunteer position, we love to give our Chapter Leaders some awesome perks as a way to show our gratitude! Every Lead receives things like a branded shirt, a kickback from memberships to use towards our retreats or optional case, a private group to mastermind with other chapter leaders, and so much more!

Frequently Asked Questions

  • Starting a chapter requires consistency, patience and passion. Weโ€™ll support you as much as possible, but the most successful communities are led by those who take initiative! If you already have a network of some sort, youโ€™ll take off even sooner.

  • We have found that having two people step into this role is the key to a successful community. Two leads allows for better brainstorming, the ability to split up tasks, and hold each other accountable for planning monthly events.

  • Yes! This is a volunteer role for those looking to create a space for women to connect and build friendships.

    Although this is a volunteer role, we do provide our Chapter Leaders with some pretty awesome perks as outlined above.

  • First of all, take a deep breath. Secondly, we are happy to chat with you and see where you are struggling. If it seems you really do need to step away, we will try our best to find a new leader to step in and take your place.
